Search Led by IndySchool Consultancy IndySchool Consultancy has been retained to lead the search for the next Athletic Director at Academy of the Holy Names in Tampa, Florida. About Academy of the Holy Names Academy of the Holy Names (AHN) is a premier Catholic, coeducational college preparatory school serving students in Pre-K through 12. Sponsored by the Sisters of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary, AHN is committed to academic excellence, faith formation, leadership development, and service. Athletics at AHN plays a vital role in shaping confident, disciplined, and mission-aligned student leaders. The program is rooted in competitive excellence while reflecting the school's Catholic identity and values. The Opportunity Academy of the Holy Names seeks a strategic, student-centered Athletic Director to lead and strengthen its middle and upper school athletic programs. The next Athletic Director will build on a proud tradition of competitive success while ensuring alignment with the school's mission, culture, and long-term strategic priorities. This is an opportunity for a leader who understands that athletics is both a formative experience for students and a visible expression of institutional excellence. Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership Develop and implement a comprehensive vision for athletics aligned with AHN's mission Promote a culture of sportsmanship, character, and competitive integrity Align athletic programming with broader institutional goals Program Oversight Supervise, mentor, and evaluate coaches and athletic staff Oversee scheduling, facilities, budgeting, and compliance Ensure adherence to FHSAA and other governing body requirements Student-Athlete Development Champion academic success and personal growth Support leadership development within teams Collaborate with college counseling regarding recruitment pathways Community Engagement Strengthen partnerships with families, alumni, and community stakeholders Elevate school spirit and visibility through athletics Collaborate with Advancement and Enrollment to support storytelling and recruitment initiatives Compensation & Benefits Academy of the Holy Names offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience and a comprehensive benefits package.
