School Front Office & Admissions Coordinator Life International Academy | Tampa, FL Full-Time | Annual Contract | Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-4:30 PM Eight-hour workday with a one-hour lunch break $45,000-$55,000 annually + Benefits Be the welcoming face of LIFE. Are you a warm, friendly, highly organized person who enjoys connecting with people? Life International Academy is seeking a technology-savvy Front Office & Admissions Coordinator who will make students, families, and visitors feel welcome while keeping our school office running smoothly. You'll greet children each morning, help parents, introduce prospective families to our school, and support admissions and daily administration. We're looking for someone with a pleasant, positive manner who enjoys being around children, building relationships, and finding solutions. LIFE is a small Montessori-inspired private school on a beautiful three-acre nature-based campus. Our students learn through strong academics, outdoor exploration, entrepreneurship, sustainability, and practical life experiences. What You'll Do Welcome students, families, and visitors with warmth and professionalism. Answer phone calls and emails, provide helpful information, and follow up promptly. Schedule school tours and guide prospective families through applications and enrollment. Support registration, onboarding, re-enrollment, and scholarship documentation, including Step Up For Students. Keep student records, attendance, forms, and administrative files accurate and confidential. Use school software to update family information, track tuition payments, and support billing. Prepare newsletters, forms, and routine school communications. Coordinate calendars, events, field trips, supplies, and vendor appointments. Support arrival and dismissal procedures and work closely with school leadership. Serve as the on-site point of contact when the director is away, coordinating daily needs and following established school procedures. Who We're Looking For A friendly, approachable person who enjoys working with children and families At least four years of experience in administration, admissions, office support, or a related role Excellent customer service and clear written and verbal communication Strong organization, attention to detail, and dependable follow-through Ability to multitask, manage interruptions, and prioritize competing needs calmly A proactive problem solver who takes initiative and exercises sound judgment Confidence using Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, online forms, and task-management tools Ability to learn new software and maintain confidential information Previous experience as a school admissions officer or in a school front office is a plus. Familiarity with Florida private-school requirements, school policies, Step Up For Students scholarships, student information systems, CRM platforms, or tuition software is preferred; training provided. Canva, website, or social media experience is also welcome. Candidates must pass a background screening and be authorized to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship is unavailable. Compensation & Benefits $45,000-$55,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications Three weeks off annually plus Major School Holidays are off.
