Job Description

The Accreditation Coordinator supports the university's institutional effectiveness and compliance efforts by coordinatingaccreditation-related activities, assessment processes, and regulatory documentation across Larkin University School of Dental Medicine(LU-SDM) academic and administrative units. Primary responsibilities include supporting programmatic, state, and institutional accreditationinitiatives; maintaining accreditation timelines, reports, and evidence repositories; assisting with substantive change and compliancereporting; and collaborating with academic leadership to ensure alignment with institutional, state, and accreditor standards. TheAccreditation Coordinator works closely with the Office of Accreditation, Institutional Research & Effectiveness (AIRE) and universitystakeholders to collect institutional and programmatic data used to inform accreditation planning, quality assurance, and continuousimprovement efforts. This role assists with the coordination of assessment reporting, faculty credentialing documentation, policy compliancetracking, and site visit preparation while supporting academic planning and program review processes through evidence-based practices andinstitutional data analysis. The Accreditation Coordinator contributes to fostering a culture of accountability, assessment, and continuousimprovement by supporting accreditation readiness, maintaining compliance processes, and promoting data-informed decision-making throughoutthe school. The Accreditation Coordinator reports directly to the Associate Vice President within AIRE.
Qualifications Degree & Area of Specialization:
Master's degree in Higher Education, Health Administration, Public Policy, or arelated field educational administration, statistics, psychology, or applied social science research and appropriate experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
At least two years of administrative experience including work experience in an institutionof higher education. Experience in a health science-focused or graduate education environment. Experience withaccreditation, quality improvement, or quality control processes. Ability to understand and interpret institutional, state, andprogrammatic compliance standards. Able to understand and follow instructions, knowledge of moderately complex or other workprocedure. Strong communication skills, including written, presentations, and publications.
Strong software skills:
advancedMicrosoft office suite, Watermark or other accreditation software. Ethical and values integrity with the ability to maintain strictconfidentiality and to handle sensitive matters using discretion, diplomacy, and good judgment.
