ALUMNI RELATIONS COORDINATOR - 12 MONTH POSITION JOB PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

This position plays a critical role in

strengthening alumni connections, increasing engagement, and building a sustainable pipeline for future donors and advocates of Allen

Community College. 1. Plan, coordinate, and execute alumni-focused events such as reunions, homecoming activities, networking events,

and community gatherings. 2. Develop and manage consistent alumni communications, including email newsletters, social media

engagement, and alumni stories. 3. Work with marketing and media teams to produce engaging content, including video features,

spotlight stories, and virtual experiences. 4. Maintain and enhance the alumni database within the college's CRM system, ensuring

accurate records and effective audience segmentation. 5. Build and support alumni engagement programs, including volunteer

opportunities, mentorship initiatives, and ambassador programs. 6. Collaborate with campus departments (athletics, academics,

student services) to increase alumni participation in college events and programs. 7. Create compelling content that highlights

alumni achievements, college impact, and student success stories. 8. Serve as the primary point of contact for alumni inquiries and

engagement opportunities. 9. Track engagement metrics such as event attendance, communication performance, and alumni participation

rates to guide strategy. 10. Support a positive alumni experience that encourages ongoing involvement, advocacy, and connection to

the college. 11. Coordinates with other departments to ensure engagements, events, and appropriate alumni recognition are announced

in timely manner. 12. Track and report engagement metrics, participation rates, and program outcomes to inform strategy and improve

performance Bachelor's Degree preferred or work-related equivalent in communications, marketing, PR, non-profit management or

experience in related field. 1-3 years of experience in event planning, communications, alumni relations or community engagement preferred.

Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills. Proficiency in digital tools, social media platforms and basic content

creation (photo/video) desirable. Experience with CRM systems and email marketing platforms preferred.

Iola, Kansas

Campus office location

SALARY:

$50,000 - 60,000 dependent upon education and experience. Excellent benefit package

available.

Negotiable. Position open until filled.
