An Education Program Manager manages ongoing educational programs for an education or training establishment. May collaborate with individual education providers, clients or students to facilitate improvement of existing programs or development of new programs.

The Kansas Association for Conservation and Environmental Education (KACEE) is seeking a Capacity Building AmeriCorps Member to support and strengthen systems that expand access to environmental education across Kansas. This position is ideal for someone interested in nonprofit management, communications, education, or sustainability. The member will work closely with KACEE staff on a variety of key capacity-building projects that offer a unique, hands-on look at how a nonprofit functions and grows its impact.
Opportunities include:
Support fund development by researching and organizing funding opportunities, assisting with donor engagement plans, and helping maintain accurate records in our contact database. They will contribute to the organization's long-term sustainability by supporting grant-related research, campaign planning, and donor communications. Help organize and enhance environmental education course materials, develop communication plans to engage past participants, and moderate online courses. They will play an active role in communications—creating and scheduling social media posts, updating the website, organizing digital assets, and contributing to email campaigns.
Member Duties :
Assist in outreach efforts with schools, universities, and community partners across the state. This includes helping assess needs, build relationships, and develop systems that better support students, educators, and environmental education champions. The member will also help grow regional education networks, mentor programs, and recognition systems.
