Exempt Position Summary:
The Fundraising Coordinator is responsible for providing support to the Director of Development for the purpose of planning and executing annual fundraising and ministry events, marketing and communications, and other efforts to bring awareness to and encourage involvement from the community regarding Hope House Ministries. Primary Job Functions and Responsibilities Include but Not Limited to: Execute and maintain Hope House's social media presence in accordance with the marketing and communications strategy established by the Director of Development. Coordinate the implementation of annual fundraising campaigns via direct mail, email, and social media. Graphic design ability via Adobe Creative Cloud is preferred. Maintain accurate donor records through timely data entry, gift documentation, contact updates, donor notes, and other CRM administrative tasks. Coordinate donor communications tasks, such as thank you notes and newsletters Coordinate personalized donor cultivation strategies Coordinate the collection of impact stories with accompanying media (photos/videos) from every Hope House department Assist with Hope House fundraising and donor engagement events including, but not limited to Swing for Hope, open houses, facility tours, etc. Solicit sponsorships for fundraising events and other projects as needed Attend community promotional events and fundraisers including, but not limited to, informational booths at civic events and restaurant fundraisers Manage inventory of marketing and promotional materials Schedule presentations and tours of HHM for businesses, churches, groups, etc. Support donor cultivation and stewardship through personalized communications, follow-up, tours, presentations, donor recognition, sponsorship fulfillment, and other engagement activities.
Job Requirements:
Demonstrated commitment to the mission and vision of Hope House, including the Hope House Philosophy of Ministry and Statement of Faith Commitment to maintaining high integrity, character, and transparency Must value the practice of generosity and have a passion for encouraging generosity in others Ability to effectively communicate with businesses and individuals for the purpose of soliciting donations Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud for graphic design preferred Strong time management and administrative skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Familiarity with technology and ease of ability to learn computer programs Ability to multi-task schedules and responsibilities Ability to meet time-sensitive deadlines and work efficiently Ability to manage resources provided to Hope House in a way that is honorable to the Lord and the person/s or organization that provided them

Analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions Effectively organize complex tasks and execute plans to completion Speak effectively and provide clear and concise written reports Perform well as a team member, taking direction and managing assigned tasks effectively and efficiently
Education Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution; communications, marketing, and nonprofit administration degrees preferred. Employment/internship experience in the field of fundraising, communications, or marketing preferred. Regular volunteer and/or work experience with non profit organization(s) preferred.
Language Skills:
Ability to write reports and business correspondence Ability to read, analyze, and interpret various publications Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from large groups including prospective donors, staff, congregations, and community leaders Ability to communicate concise, compelling stories in both written and oral form Ability to relate to people and articulate the mission and vision of Hope House to individuals and the community at large
Computer Skills:
Ability to work easily with Google Suite (Drive, Docs, Sheets), Bloomerang CRM, Adobe Creative Cloud, Mailchimp, Canva, and other software as necessary for communications, event planning, and donor relationship management Ability to manage and organize computer files Ability to effectively use email, text, fax and voicemail in a time sensitive manner
