Job Description

Our Mission:
We are a Catholic Ursuline University forming compassionate, critical thinkers through a holistic and deeplypersonal education Director of Didactic Education/Didactic Coordinator Physician Assistant Program This is a12-month full-time faculty member with administrative responsibilities.
Qualifications:
Must be agraduate of an accredited PA Program NCCPA-certified PA Eligible for or currently possess Kentucky PA licensure without ahistory of negative board action Master's degree required 3 years of clinical experience 3 years full-time highereducation experience at time of appointment preferred Strong interpersonal skills Responsibilities are, butare not limited to: Coordinate the program's didactic phase, Demonstrate responsibility for and activelyparticipate in the processes of: developing, reviewing and revising as necessary the mission statement, goals and competencies ofthe program, student recruitment and selecting applicants for admission to the PA Program, providing student teaching andinstruction, academic counseling of students and evaluation of student performance, assuring the availability of remedialinstruction, development/designing, implementing, coordinating, and evaluating the curriculum, and evaluating theprogram, Serve as a liaison for instructional faculty, Support the development of supervised clinical practice experiencesites, Participate in and support accreditation related activities, including administrative aspects of theprogram, Adherence to University and PA Program policies and procedures, Participate in scholarship and service activitiesas required to maintain licensure and board certification.
