Job Description

Residency Coordinator LSU School of Medicine-Baton Rouge Campus The School of Medicine of the LSU Health Sciences Center located in Baton Rouge is accepting applications for the position of Residency Coordinator in our Psychiatry Department. Under the general direction of the Residency Program Director, the incumbent will support the residency program, faculty, and residents on all Graduate Medical Education (GME) matters. Manage and oversee training program compliance with Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) accreditation standards, LSUHSC-NO policies and procedures, and other regulatory requirements. We are seeking a motivated and highly organized individual who is detail oriented, possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills, and can prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. The position requires excellent PC skills with proficiency in MS Office programs, ability to work in a team environment, record maintenance skills, ability to create, compose and edit written materials, ability to identify, analyze and solve problems, and ability to formulate action plans, timelines and schedules related to program planning and implementation.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and 2 years of work experience in a professional setting Master's degree can substitute for 2 years of work experience in a professional setting
Preferred Qualifications:
