The ACCS Residential Director is an exciting and dynamic role that combines administrative and leadership responsibilities to ensure the seamless operation of community-based residential sites for adults facing mental illness and substance use challenges. This position calls for a robust understanding of clinical programming and involves managing a dedicated team, ensuring top-notch service delivery, maintaining a welcoming physical environment, budgeting, and adhering to DMH licensing regulations. You will have the incredible opportunity to collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to develop and implement impactful treatment plans, provide consultation on effective rehabilitative strategies, and build strong relationships both internally and externally. This Residential Director will cover one or more Aspire Residential sites, stepping in for fellow Residential Directors during their absences or when there are vacancies, ensuring continuity of care and support!
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Human Services, or a related field is preferred. A valid driver's license in good standing, along with driving experience and a solid driving record, is required. Access to a personal vehicle is essential! CPR, First Aid, and MAP certifications will be required. 2+ years of supervisory experience in human services, with knowledge of community-based treatment, funding sources, and treatment regulations. A flexible team player who can lead and inspire staff; eager to grow and learn in this rewarding role. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must! Bilingual skills and/or experience with multicultural populations are highly desirable. Strong computer skills and the ability to use an electronic health record system for clinical documentation are required.
Schedule:
Mon-Fri, 9a-5p. This role includes on-call responsibilities for designated site(s) throughout the week and alternating weekends, providing you with a varied and fulfilling work experience!
