Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract position engaging with students in a dynamic educational setting near Quincy, MA. This full-time opportunity runs from ASAP until June 24, 2026, with the possibility of extension into Extended School Year (ESY) or Next School Year (NSY) programs. As a valued occupational therapy professional, you'll play a central role in supporting students' growth and independence.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Hold current licensure and certification as an Occupational Therapist (OT) Previous experience in school-based, home health, or healthcare OT settings Understanding of individualized education programs (IEPs) and progress monitoring Strong skills in adapting therapy plans to student needs in a collaborative environment Reliable, timely, and committed to the full contract duration
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in accordance with IEPs and district objectives Conduct comprehensive assessments and contribute to eligibility reports and goal setting Deliver interventions that promote student participation, fine motor skills, and self-care independence Maintain clear, timely documentation on student progress and communication with educational teams Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other specialists for integrated student support Participate in IEP meetings and professional development opportunities Discover the positive impact you can have throughout the school year, with the security of a consistent schedule—37.5 hours per week—in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.
