Asbury Methodist Village proudly provides high quality, compassionate services in skilled nursing, assisted living, residential living, post-acute rehabilitation, and memory support care for residents of Montgomery County and surrounding areas.

Schedule and PayPRN hours up to 75 hours bi-weekly9am-5pm, some evenings and weekends required$20.00/hourTemporary position through December 31, 2026 Job DescriptionSummary The Admissions Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the Admissions Department to help the facility achieve census goals. This role supports the admission process by preparing documentation, maintaining accurate records, assisting with onboarding activities, and serving as a welcoming resource for residents, patients, and families. The position works under the direction of the Admissions Coordinator and Director of Admissions.
Essential FunctionsProvide administrative support to the Admissions Department, including answering and directing calls, emails, and admission inquiries.
Perform general office duties such as scanning, copying, filing, document management, referral intake, and data entry into electronic systems.
Prepare admission packets, contracts, financial agreements, and other required admission documentation.
Obtain required signatures, verify and update resident demographic, insurance, emergency contact, and responsible party information, and track outstanding documentation.
Meet newly admitted residents and families, support admission-related onboarding, and coordinate communication with internal departments to support a smooth transition into the facility.
Create a positive first impression for prospective residents, families, visitors, and referral sources by maintaining a professional, compassionate, and customer-focused approach.
Maintain accurate and confidential admission records in accordance with HIPAA, applicable regulations, facility policies, and organizational standards; may perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications• Previous experience in healthcare, admissions, customer service, or administrative support preferred.• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred.
