Pay Schedule Month Number of Hrs./Wk. 40 Position Information Position Information Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree and 2 years experience in faculty development program implementation or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Two years general office work, preferably in an educational setting, including experience in prioritizing work and meeting deadlines. Mastery of Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite applications. Ability to effectively interact with the public, students, faculty, and staff. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Excellent organizational and analytical skills Ability to communicate effectively with others. Experience with on-line conference and meeting applications (Zoom, Microsoft Teams) and Qualtrics programs. Desired Qualifications This position involves a high degree of adaptability, dependability and initiative, in dealing with students, faculty, staff and administrators of Oakland University, William Beaumont Hospital and the OUWB School of Medicine. Position requires excellent organizational and communication skills (both oral and written). Knowledge of Oakland University and Beaumont Health standard operating policies and procedures is desired. Proven ability to work collaboratively and independently in a highly interactive environment. Excellent leadership, organizational, oral and written communication skills. Exhibits discretion, confidentiality and professional behavior, and communication. Ability to organize events and coordinate the efforts of groups of people. Able to manage multiple projects at the same time. High level of independent thinking and creativity required. Collaborating and working with diverse groups of people. Basic understanding of adult and medical education. Ability to prioritize multiple job demands, problem solves, and troubleshoots with minimal direct supervision. Position Details Position Purpose Reporting directly to the Director, Center for Excellence in Medical Education, the Faculty Development Coordinator will manage the day-to-day functions within the Center for Excellence in Medical Education that serves over 1400 faculty and staff positions. The position will be responsible for managing and coordinating faculty and staff development activities which include coordinating speakers, advertising programs, overseeing and coordinating registrations, developing, writing online modules and coordinating website updates for Center for Excellence in Medical Education (CEME) programs offered as faculty development for the Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine.
