Job Description

Under the guidance of the Branch Executive Director, the Senior Program Director is responsible for the development, organization, and delivery of high-quality YMCA program(s) to the Aquatics and Sports departments.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university in Recreation Management, Physical Education, or business or related field. YMCA program-specific certifications preferred.
Experience:
One to two years related experience preferred.
Knowledge:
Knowledge of development and implementation. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of parents, coaches, and the general public.
Personal Skills:
Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community. Each staff member is expected to recognize, support, and motivate Health Seekers of all ages. Facilitate environments in which members of all ages can build supportive, caring relationships with other members and staff.
