Job Description

The Admissions Coordinator position is responsible for coordination of the application and admissions process for all applicants to Caramore's work and combined work & housing programs. Responsibilities include to coordinate with referral sources, complete interview assessments with applicants, orient applicants and newly admitted clients, communicate potential clients' participation goals and obstacles to Caramore's Treatment Team, and coordinate with funding sources to complete necessary eligibility and admissions paperwork. We're looking for an organized, communicative, and person‑focused Admissions Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for applicants and referral sources, ensuring that they are informed about our programs, the application process, and applicable eligibility requirements. You'll quickly assess if interested parties appear to meet basic eligibility and, if so, guide them through our extensive application process. If you enjoy supporting others to take actions towards their goals and have a talent for keeping details in order, this role might be a great fit. Essential Functions
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for questions about our work programs via phone, email, and in‑person interactions.
  • Communicate clearly with interested parties and referral sources to explain eligibility requirements, the application process, and describe our work programs.
  • Guide applicants to take accountability to complete the application process, including completing the required assessment interviews and visit.
  • Provide timely updates and ensure clients feel informed throughout their application.
  • Coordinate closely with Caramore's Treatment Team to make admissions decisions.
  • Liaison with funding partners to verify applicant eligibility and complete admissions paperwork.
  • Orient applicants and newly admitted clients to participation in our work programs.

Pay:
$25.00 - $27.00 per hour
