Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated CTE (Career and Technical Education) Coordinator for the 2026-2027 school year to lead and support our career readiness initiatives. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of students by coordinating comprehensive CTE programs, fostering partnerships, and ensuring alignment with educational standards. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for education, strong leadership skills, and a strategic mindset to drive program success. As a vital member of our educational team, you will oversee curriculum development, assist with budget management for the department, and facilitate collaboration among educators, industry partners, and students to promote meaningful career pathways. Duties Develop and implement innovative CTE curricula aligned with industry standards and educational requirements. Coordinate program activities across multiple departments to ensure seamless delivery of career technical education. Manage program budgets, monitor expenditures, and prepare grant proposals to secure additional funding sources. Lead recruitment efforts to attract students into CTE pathways, including outreach and informational sessions. Collaborate with university partners, industry leaders, and community organizations to enhance program relevance and opportunities. Oversee administrative functions such as maintaining records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. Support teachers through professional development initiatives focused on curriculum development, instructional strategies, and industry trends. Conduct research on emerging CTE practices and integrate innovative approaches into existing programs. Facilitate leadership meetings with staff, executive director, stakeholders, and community partners to promote continuous improvement. Qualifications Demonstrated success in teaching or working directly with students in career technical or related fields. Strong skills in grant/ proposal writing, curriculum development, and research methodologies. Leadership qualities with the ability to manage teams effectively and foster collaboration across diverse groups. Excellent writing skills for reports, proposals, and communication materials. Experience recruiting students into specialized programs and working with industry professionals for curriculum relevance. Familiarity with managing programs within a research-driven environment is a plus. Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with industry standards and workforce needs. Collaborate with local businesses and industry partners to create internship and job placement opportunities. Oversee program budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and funding. Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness through data analysis and feedback. Provide professional development and support for CTE educators and staff. Advocate for CTE programs within the school district and community to promote awareness and support. Pay:
$50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
