Job Description

The Student Conduct Coordinator is a full-time, twelve-month live-in position that will be responsible for managing the university'sstudent conduct process. This position will serve as the student conduct administrator ensuring compliance with all university policies andprocesses as well as the protection of student responsibilities and rights. This administrator will oversee the adjudication of all conducthearings, processes, and notifications. This component of the position will require a professional that is detail-oriented and can managemultiple tasks simultaneously. In addition to the student conduct component, this administrator will oversee a residential area oftwo residence halls (approximately 200 students) and supervise five to eight resident assistants. Responsibilities will include stafftraining, conflict mediation, crisis intervention, and the implementation of residence hall programming designed to complement the goals ofthe residence life program and the mission of the university. This live-in position will require flexible hours, a team-building attitude,and a sincere desire to work with students in a religiously affiliated private liberal arts college environment. This position will serve asthe administrator for two residential facilities on campus. This position will work closely with two other assistant director professionalsto coordinate all housing and residence life functions. We anticipate additional professional opportunities based on the operationalneeds and programming interests of our faculty, staff, and students. This position will be an excellent opportunity for a motivatedprofessional seeking a broad student affairs experience in a small private college environment. This is an anticipated opening; thehiring process will only begin when the position officially becomes vacant. Master's degree preferred. Supervisory experience andextensive experience in residential living, either as a graduate student or full-time employee are required. Also, experience working with acollege judicial system is preferred. Salary is competitive, full college benefits, semi-furnished apartment, and meal plan provided.
