Associate Campus Director of Evangelism and Sending - CPC The Summit Church - 4.6 Raleigh, NC Job Details Full-time 14 hours ago Qualifications Team leadership Employee relationship building Research Full Job Description Summary of Position The Associate Campus Director of Evangelism and Sending provides leadership for the Capital Hills Campus's evangelism, baptism, and sending strategies. This role creates clear pathways for people to explore the Christian faith, profess faith through baptism, and become disciple-making disciples who are actively engaged in God's mission locally, domestically, and internationally. By developing leaders, strengthening ministry systems, and cultivating strategic partnerships, this position advances The Summit Church's mission to follow the Holy Spirit in creating a movement of disciple-making disciples in RDU and around the world. Qualifications and Requirements Passionate about the lost and the marginalized Able to recruit others to meaningfully engage in sending opportunities (local, domestic, and international) Exceptional organizational and administrative skills with attention to detail Self-motivated, humble, teachable, and strong desire to research and implement best practices Strong people skills, ability to build multi-cultural relationships, and work well on a team Spiritual maturity and history of disciple-making Able to organize and run systems A member of the Summit Church or willing & able to become a member Responsibilities Faith Exploration Lead Alpha as a primary on-ramp for guests and the spiritually curious to explore the Christian faith. Create a welcoming, relational environment where questions are encouraged and the gospel is clearly presented. Recruit, train, and support Alpha leaders and hosts to facilitate healthy discussions Provide intentional evangelism training for leaders to ensure clarity and confidence in presenting the gospel. Ensure Alpha is intentionally connected to next steps such as baptism, small groups, membership, and sending. Work with Campus Leadership team and ministry leaders to increase the evangelism urgency of the campus. Sending (Local, Domestic & International) Recruit and train team leaders for short-term trips assigned to the campus by the sending team. Know, support, and advocate for the missionaries sent from the CPC campuscampus-sent out missionaries. Collaborate with the sending team regarding goals and objectives for short-term trips and missionary care. Collaborate with the Local Outreach team and Campus Staff to oversee the Campus Community Development Strategic Plan. Recruit, develop, and train Local Outreach champions and help recruit people to serve in local opportunities. Build relationships with community partners alongside champions and identify potential opportunities for new partnerships. Build relationships in the community and be knowledgeable of the needs of the marginalized within the Capital Hills context. Champion church-wide and campus mobilization events, and implement mobilization strategies given by the Sending Team. Oversee benevolence/financial assistance for the campus and work in conjunction with Campus Staff and Deacons to distribute benevolence cases. Baptism Oversee the campus baptism process from initial conversations through preparation, execution, and follow-up. Collaborate with pastors and ministry leaders to support individuals and families before and after baptism. Ensure baptism is clearly connected as a next step out of faith exploration environments. Plan logistics, recruit leaders, and execute All-Call Baptisms throughout the year. Churchwide Events This is a full-time role with an expected workload of 40 hours per week. As one church in many locations, all staff are expected to serve at church-wide events such as Good Friday, Easter, church-wide prayer meetings, and Christmas Services. Serving expectations will be communicated in advance of each event.
