(To ensure consideration, please submit all application materials before review date) 09/15/2026 Posting Close Date Open Until Filled Yes Description of Work The Associate Registrar provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for the Office of the University Registrar's academic services. This position directs the administration of curriculum management, class scheduling, enrollment services, graduation and degree certification, and the management of general-purpose classroom assignments. The Associate Registrar ensures these services are delivered efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with institutional policies while supporting student success and timely degree completion. The position supervises curricular services staff and provides leadership to the Assistant Registrar responsible for the Academic Services Specialist team. Through effective supervision, staff development, and process improvement initiatives, the Associate Registrar promotes operational excellence and high-quality service to students, faculty, advisors, and academic administrators. Serving as the primary liaison between the Office of the University Registrar and the university's colleges and academic units regarding operations, the Associate Registrar works collaboratively with campus stakeholders to address curricular, scheduling, enrollment, and graduation-related needs. As a member of the University Curriculum Committee, the Associate Registrar provides expertise on curricular governance and system support. The Associate Registrar directs registrar-related activities associated with commencement ceremonies held three times annually, coordinating degree certification processes and serving as the Office of the University Registrar's representative on the University Commencement Committee. The position ensures accurate degree conferral and successful commencement operations, contributing to an exceptional experience for graduates and their families. The position provides functional leadership for registrar technologies supporting curricular and academic services operations. Working closely with information technology and programming staff, the Associate Registrar implements system enhancements and tests new functionality. Must have excellent communication and writing skills. Experience working with individuals at all levels of an institution necessary. Must have extensive knowledge of Registrar's office procedures and processes. Ability to clearly provide direction to office staff and external partners in proper operations and procedures essential. General knowledge of college degree requirements and how university work is accomplished required. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in education, business, MIS or related field More than 5 years of progressive and related full-time employment experience desirable. Preferred ability to effectively communicate with senior campus leadership in a clear and concise manner. Ability to build relationships with campus units and promote the Office of the University Registrar's services helpful.
