Wayne State Foundation | Wayne State College | Wayne, Nebraska The Wayne State Foundation is seeking a dynamic, relationship-driven professional to serve as our next Director of Major Gifts . This exciting leadership opportunity plays a vital role in advancing the mission of Wayne State College through philanthropy, alumni engagement, and donor stewardship. The Director of Major Gifts will develop and strengthen relationships with alumni, donors, corporations, and community partners while helping secure annual, major, and planned gifts that support student success and institutional priorities. Key Responsibilities Manage and grow a portfolio of donor and prospect relationships Secure annual, major ($10,000+), and planned gifts Develop personalized donor engagement and solicitation strategies Conduct donor visits locally, regionally, and nationally Collaborate with Foundation and campus leadership on fundraising priorities Support alumni engagement, donor stewardship, and special events Represent Wayne State College at outreach and engagement activities Qualifications Bachelor's degree required Strong communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively Willingness to travel, including occasional evenings and weekends Fundraising, sales, marketing, public relations, or advancement experience preferred Salary & Benefits Salary range: $75,000 - $95,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
