Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business preferred. A degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field will also be considered. Previous experience in admissions, enrollment management, or a related field is preferred. Profile of a Pinkerton Director of Admissions Pinkerton Academy's director of admissions plays an important role in the operation of the Academy. As an educational leader, the director of admissions assists with the management of the school and the implementation of Pinkerton Academy's mission and vision. This individual oversees the admission and enrollment processes and is responsible for managing the end-to-end admissions cycle, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, and collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance the overall enrollment experience. The director of admissions will use multimedia platforms such as social media and the Pinkerton website to market and highlight the Academy's mission and vision, attracting students and families. Assisting with enrollment management, the director of admissions will show initiative by working independently on projects and guide the work of the admissions school counselor in collaboration with the school counseling director. This individual possesses a strong work ethic and is motivated to learn and grow digital marketing skills. As a creative, driven, passionate go-getter, the director of admissions will assist in the expansion of Pinkerton Academy's student outreach. The director of admissions has impeccable interpersonal and communication skills and strong attention to detail with an ability to multi-task and adapt to a challenging, fast-paced environment of varying priorities. Essential Skills and Abilities of aPinkerton Academy Director of Admissions Key Responsibilities:
Admission Process Oversight:
Coordinate and oversee the Student and Exchange Visitor Program and the admission process from application submission to final decision. Review and evaluate applications for completeness and adherence to admission criteria. Communicate with prospective students, providing guidance and information about the admission process.Enrollment Management:
Develop and implement strategies to optimize enrollment and retention rates. Collaborate with administration and academic departments to forecast enrollment trends and plan for capacity needs. Monitor enrollment data and generate reports to track and analyze key metrics.Policy and Compliance:
Stay current with relevant laws, regulations, and institutional policies related to admissions and enrollment. Ensure that all admission and enrollment processes comply with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.Communication and Outreach:
Serve as a point of contact for prospective students, providing information on programs, admission requirements, and application procedures. Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to develop materials and campaigns that promote enrollment initiatives. Build, facilitate, and maintain a student ambassador program with current Pinkerton students. Collaboration withStakeholders:
Work closely with administration, faculty, and staff to coordinate admission-related activities. Collaborate with finance offices to support students in securing necessary funding.Event Coordination:
Plan and execute events such as open houses, information sessions, and campus tours to attract and engage prospective students. Represent the institution at recruitment events, both on and off campus.Data Management:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of applicants and enrolled students using appropriate databases. Generate and analyze reports to assess the effectiveness of admission and enrollment strategies.Customer Service:
