About the Program Kilbarchan IRTS (Intensive Residential Treatment Service Unit) provides short-term, crisis stabilization and emergency residential placement for adolescent boys and girls. Services include clinical and psychiatric evaluations, treatment planning, and discharge coordination . Position Overview The Program Director will oversee a 6-bed residential treatment program , providing clinical and administrative leadership while ensuring the delivery of trauma-informed, evidence-based care . This role supervises both clinical and residential staff and is responsible for overall program operations, compliance, and outcomes. Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise a multidisciplinary treatment team Oversee clinical assessments, treatment planning, and service delivery Provide and ensure clinical supervision for staff Implement and monitor therapeutic programming and interventions Ensure compliance with state regulations, licensing standards, and contract requirements Partner with families and external stakeholders to support successful outcomes Manage staff hiring, performance evaluations, coaching, and disciplinary actions Develop and track program goals, outcomes, and quality improvement initiatives Support audits, inspections, and regulatory reviews Qualifications Master's Degree in a clinical field (Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related) 3+ years of experience working with adolescents in a psychiatric or behavioral health setting Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred Strong understanding of trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, and residential treatment Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills Experience with Nurtured Heart Approach is a plus
