MINIMUM 2 YEARS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. GENERAL DUTIES
The FAA will adhere to the federal and state regulations and the institution's policies and procedures for all financial aid programs, process student funding and ensure excellent student service.
DIRECT RESPONSIBILITIES
Guiding new/re-admitted students through the FAFSA Form process by means of online Video conferences (Google Meet or Zoom) or In Person appointments Reviewing a student's Financial Aid Eligibility through Financial Aid Estimate appointments (Video Conference or In Person). Entrance Counseling and MPN Workshops through Google Meet Zoom, or in the classroom for newly enrolled students. Title IV funds are received and credited to student accounts. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, maintain accuracy and meet deadlines in a high-volume medical campus. Customer service skills to provide a positive experience for students and their families, addressing their concerns and questions promptly and professionally. Prepare and maintain accurate financial aid records and reports such as SSCR, IPED, and weekly reports. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of federal financial aid programs and regulations guidelines. Student academic progress is monitored for all financial aid students. Reviewing and processing financial aid ISIR's for verification, C- codes, UEH, and professional judgement. Coordinating and overseeing the awarding and disbursement of grants, scholarships, and loans to students. Training and supervising financial aid staff at Somerset Campus. Perform routine audits and address any issues and findings in the financial aid electronic or physical files such as actives, drops, and graduates. Work closely with Admission, Student Service, and Externship. Auditors prepare information for audit purposes.
Pay:
$50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
