The ideal candidate will have:
Extensive experience providing supports to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential setting. Comprehensive knowledge of the Division of Human Services and Division of Developmental Disabilities regulations and processes. Strong leadership skills with experience leading a diverse team of professionals. A strong desire to provide the highest quality of care to those we support. A problem solver able to develop innovate approaches to address emergent issues. The Director of Residential Services is responsible for : Overseeing the operation of all QMA Residential sites in New Jersey. Ensuring agency compliance with all DHS and DDD regulations. Supervising a cadre of Assistant Directors overseeing Program Managers. Providing the COO and CEO routine updates on program operations. Fostering a strong working relationship with stakeholders. Orienting new residential personal to the values and mission of QMA. Participating as part of an interdepartmental team. Ensure on time and effective billing for services. Assist the COO and CEO in developing and implementing a residential quality assurance plan to improve program quality.
The Director of Residential Services Skills and Qualifications :
A minimum of a four-year college degree and three (3) years experience working in the DD/ID field or a related field. Master's degree preferred. Comfortable working with technology including an electronic health record. The ability to communicate effectively with staff and stakeholders. Have a valid driver's license. Be twenty-one years of age or older. Be able to clear all DHS and DDD requirements including, but not limited to: Drug test. Physical.
