Qualifications:
Ability to obtain a New Mexico Alternative Student Success Advisor (7-12) License.
Requirements:
Enrolled or planning to enroll in a School Counseling Graduate Program, graduating within five (5) years. Ability to utilize Xello (college and career planning), PowerSchool, Schoology, College Board, Edgunuity/credit recovery, and other SIS and assessment systems. Completed Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university. Demonstrated understanding of college, armed forces and career counseling including internships, scholarships, and financial aide (FAFSA). Ability to plan, promote, and implement successful college, career and armed forces events. Demonstrated understanding and application of NM State Graduation requirements and high school credits. Ability to enhance student success and improve student achievement in conjunction with students, parents, teachers and administration. Demonstrated communication skills to enhance student, parent, staff, and administrative dialogue. Embraces and encourages diversity. Demonstrated a willingness to seek professional development. Demonstrated ability to provide an environment and climate where creativity, success and opportunity to learn are experienced by all students. •Max Pay Based on Years of Experience•
