•Only candidates with experience as a Dir. of Admissions or Marketing in a long-term care setting will be considered!! -Must have experience working in the long-term care industry! Why Join Our Team? Conveniently located in Brooklyn, right of off I-480! Only 3-year-old well-appointed building, that has all private rooms that include private bathrooms with showers! Solid management team, led by a seasoned Nursing Home Administrator with a growing family, owned family company with regional support! Join our team as an Admissions Coordinator and help ensure a smooth, welcoming transition for new residents. This role is key to maintaining census levels, supporting marketing efforts, and building strong relationships with families and referral sources.
Job Duties:
Coordinate pre-admission data and resident assessments Support marketing and census growth with referral outreach Conduct interviews and verify resident information Collaborate with nursing and administration for room assignments Escort and welcome new residents Maintain accurate, confidential records Assist with admission paperwork and policy communication Partner with the Director of Business Development on marketing initiatives
Qualifications:
High school diploma or recent college graduate Experience skilled nursing setting admissions or healthcare preferred Strong organizational and communication skills Professional, empathetic, and team-oriented Knowledge of long-term care regulations and resident rights Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion The Avenue at Brooklyn is a post-hospital rehabilitation and skilled nursing care facility offering a distinctive experience not commonly found in traditional care settings.
