Job Description
We are seeking reliable, compassionate, and patient 1:1 Special Education Paraprofessionals to work with students in a public school district for the '26-'27 school year.
Qualifications:
- Experience with special education students and/ or IEPs
- Ability to take direction
- Ability to multi-task
- Must be a team player
- Experience in school environment with at-risk students
- Must be organized
Responsibilities:
- Reinforce lessons presented by teachers by reviewing material with your assigned student.
- Enforce school and class rules to help teach students proper behavior.
- Help supervise students in class, between classes, during lunch and recess.
- Assist in coordinating and implementing student crisis intervention as well as problem resolution strategies.
- Assist staff with the development and implementation of behavior management plans, control techniques, and program design.
- Assist in maintenance of pupil behavioral records and/or incident reports.
- Review and provide analysis of student performance data.
