The Staff Senate and Employee Engagement Program Coordinator serves as a key partner in advancing employee engagement, staff recognition, and Staff Senate initiatives across the University of Oklahoma. This position leads programs, events, communications, and engagement strategies that foster connection, belonging, professional growth, and a positive employee experience. The coordinator serves as a liaison among staff, university leadership, and campus stakeholders, supporting Staff Senate operations while amplifying the voice of staff throughout the institution. The successful candidate will oversee program operations, manage complex projects and events, analyze engagement data, prepare reports and presentations, coordinate budgets and resources, and support committees and collaborative initiatives across the institution. The ideal candidate is an organized, collaborative professional with strong communication and project management skills and a passion for creating a workplace where employees feel valued, connected, and empowered to contribute to the university's success. By combining strategic employee engagement practices with Staff Senate program coordination and advocacy, this position plays a vital role in building a vibrant, inclusive workplace culture that supports the recruitment, retention, engagement, and recognition of OU staff. This role will be responsible for: Supporting and overseeing Staff Senate committees, meetings, and related initiatives Planning, coordinating, and executing Staff Senate, employee engagement, and campus events Managing event logistics, including venue reservations, catering, invitations, vendor coordination, and speaker support Administering Staff Senate fundraising activities and coordinate with university partners on financial and operational processes serving as a liaison between Staff Senate, Human Resources, university leadership, and campus stakeholders Other duties as assigned.
