Oklahoma Baptist University invites applications for the position of Associate Dean for Academic Partnerships, which will report to and work closely with the Vice President for Academic Operations and Partnerships. This position will provide leadership, support, and coordinated workflow to faculty and students for developing and coordinating academic partnerships that strengthen career readiness, vocational formation, and experiential learning across OBU's academic programs. Salary and Rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Essential Functions:

Upon hire and in the first 3 to 6 months, the priority for this position is to assist the VP for Academic Operations & Partnerships in building academic partnership infrastructure, especially in relation to partnership processes, inter-office coordination, and expanding partnership efforts across all academic programs. Other ongoing duties include, Lead, support, and coordinate with faculty to initiate, maintain, and strengthen strategic connections for students in each degree program to external partners, including employers, ministries, nonprofits, churches, alumni, and other mission-aligned organizations. Lead, support, and coordinate, at an operational level, faculty efforts related to career readiness, experiential learning, and partnership development. Develop, streamline, and manage processes related to academic partnerships, including MOUs, subscription model paperwork, and assessment-related documentation. Serve as a liaison with Career Services, Advancement, Athletics and other institutional offices to maintain partnership data and align external relationships with specific academic programs. Work with the VP for Academic Operations and Partnerships to cultivate, coordinate, and maintain relationships with current and prospective external partners. In partnership with relevant chairs, program directors, and/or administrative assistants, assist the VP for Academic Operations & Partnerships in facilitating on-campus events related to industry partnerships (e.g. endowed lectures, academic recruiting events, etc.)

Additional duties related to service as Asst./Assoc.

Dean may include:

Represent OBU and its academic programs at recruiting, partnership, and advancement events; Serve in public speaking capacities; University committee service and institutional duties as assigned; and, Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

Be able to communicate clearly and effectively. Possess and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills. Possess and demonstrate the ability to identify, pursue, and supervise strategic partnerships related to academic programs Possess and demonstrate the ability to work in advancement-related capacities for academic programs Possess and demonstrate the ability to think creatively about marketing & communication for academic programs Be able to relate to colleagues in the OBU community and serve as a representative to the professional community beyond OBU.

Ph. D. or terminal degree in an academic field

Higher education experience

Experience as a faculty member and administrator, preferably in ways that are clearly related to the required job duties listed above

Must be a member of a local evangelical
