The primary objective of the Admissions Assistant is to provide administrative support to the functions of the Office of Admissions and represent French International in a positive and professional manner.Essential Responsibilities/Activities:
Provide outstanding customer service, representing FI to prospective families by phone, email, and in person Provide tours of campus to prospective families/students Prepare/update/process admissions applications and enrollment contracts Timely follow-up with prospective families to provide quality information and details about an education at FI, the admissions process, and any outstanding items during the application process Manage daily office procedures, records, files, tours, and Admissions Meeting schedules to ensure smooth admissions and enrollment operation Stay informed and up-to-date on all admissions and enrollment policies to update admissions pages of FI website and promotional materials on a regular basis Implement and maintain admissions and enrollment software, produce reports, and ensure integrity of data entry and information Coordinate and execute on- and off-campus events such as Open Houses, admissions fairs, new family events; including managing RSVPs and post-event follow-up Collaborate with other administrative departments for proper flow of information Work with New Family Welcoming Group to ensure effective integration of new families Assist with Parent Ambassador program and connect ambassadors to prospective families Assist with Student Ambassador program for recruitment and training Interact positively with FI community, work cooperatively toward FI mission Assist Director of Admissions with projects, as needed Assist Marketing & Communications department with writing, photography and design/creative support, as needed Support general school operations through bus or crosswalk duty, as needed Occasional evening and weekend availability requiredRequirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience Excellent oral/written communication and interpersonal skills Positive, team-oriented attitude Well-organized, detail-oriented, professional, flexible, energetic, and discreet individual Excellent computer and, especially, data management skills; intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills and Google Suite Ability to multi-task with a variety of deadlines and complete tasks in a timely and accurate manner Fluency inEnglish Preferred Qualifications:
Previous admissions experience Fluency in French Second language and familiarity with other cultures Familiarity withVeracross and Adobe Creative Suite Physical Requirements:
Ability to communicate with business partners fluently in English Sight and hearing adequate to perform the duties of the job, ability to communicate clearly in both written and verbal formats Ability to sit and operate a computer for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds Ability to walk around campus as needed throughout the workdayCompensation & Benefits:
