Job Summary The Alumni and Constituent Engagement Coordinator supports the implementation of engagement strategies that strengthen relationships among alumni, students, parents, and community members. The position manages alumni marketing and communications initiatives, supports the operational and logistical coordination of key engagement programs and events, and assists with initiatives related to the Alvernia Women's Council (AWC). The role works collaboratively across campus to enhance constituent participation, visibility, and affinity for Alvernia University. Develop and implement marketing and communications strategies that promote alumni and constituent engagement opportunities across print, digital, email, social media, web, and emerging communication platforms. Create and manage content calendars for alumni and constituent engagement communications. Develop promotional materials, event communications, newsletters, social media content, and digital storytelling initiatives highlighting alumni, students, and community impact. Maintain and update alumni and engagement-related webpages and digital communication platforms. Assist in coordinating operational logistics and event execution for major engagement programs and signature events with the Director of Alumni and Constituent Engagement. Assist with post-event stewardship, evaluations, reporting, and follow-up communications to support ongoing engagement and continuous improvement efforts. Support the Alvernia Women's Council (AWC) through event coordination, communications, volunteer support, meeting logistics, sponsorship support, and program promotion. Support alumni and constituent engagement initiatives designed to strengthen lifelong connections with students and alumni through mentoring, networking, volunteerism, and career engagement opportunities. Collaborate with campus partners, including Athletics, Student Affairs, Academic Affairs, Career Development, Enrollment Management, and Marketing and Communications, to support engagement initiatives and institutional priorities. Utilize Raiser's Edge NXT (RENXT) to track engagement activity, event participation, volunteer involvement, communication efforts, and constituent interactions while maintaining accurate records and reporting. Represent the University at engagement events and programs both on campus and regionally as needed.
Qualification/Education:
Commitment to the mission statement, core values, and goals of Alvernia University. Baccalaureate Degree required Strategic thinker with excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage several projects simultaneously. Must be innovative, self-motivated, creative, flexible, dedicated, and able to work both independently and as an active member of a team High-level proficiency in utilizing all social media platforms as well as the Microsoft Office Suite. Availability to work some nights and weekends in order to attend events and meet with alumni, including travel that may require overnight stays. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects under deadline pressure. Ability to work collaboratively with various University constituents, volunteers, and campus partners.
