Position Summary Mid-Level Giving Officer - Corporate Relations with a specialized focus on cultivating, stewarding, and growing mid-level and individual giving through workplace campaigns. This position works alongside the other Corporate Relations Officers to strengthen workplace campaign results, deepen donor engagement, and help ensure that individual donors connected to corporate campaigns remain engaged with UWNCNM's mission beyond the annual campaign cycle. This position is responsible for managing an assigned portfolio of mid-level and individual donors connected to workplace campaigns, developing donor engagement and stewardship strategies, supporting campaign fundraising efforts, and identifying opportunities for donor retention, renewal, and upgrades. The role partners closely with Corporate Relations Officers and the broader Investor Relations team on workplace campaign strategy, donor follow-up, pledge analysis, reporting, recognition, stewardship, and portfolio management. The Mid-Level Giving Officer - Corporate Relations also supports individual giving initiatives that strengthen workplace campaign participation, donor retention, and long-term donor growth . Key Responsibilities Individual Giving & Portfolio Management Manage an assigned portfolio of mid-level and individual donors connected to workplace campaigns by: Cultivating relationships with mid-level donors contributing between $500 and $2,500 annually to directly support the work of UWNCNM. Developing individualized engagement and stewardship strategies focused on donor retention, renewal, and upgrades. Conducting stewardship meetings, donor visits, calls, and personalized follow-up communications. Building relationships with individual donors within workplace campaigns, so donor engagement continues beyond the campaign cycle. Increasing donor retention and identifying opportunities to grow donor giving. Identifying leadership giving prospects and other upgrade opportunities. Referring major gifts, planned giving, and other donor opportunities to the appropriate Investor Relations staff. Maintaining accurate and timely CRM documentation of donor interactions, interests, giving history, follow-up activity, and next steps. Supporting donor engagement plans in coordination with Corporate Relations Officers and the broader Investor Relations team. Coordinating and conducting personalized donor communications and appreciation activities as part of broader stewardship efforts, including calls, emails, handwritten notes, and other donor touches. Campaign Stewardship & Corporate Relations Campaign Support Work alongside the Corporate Relations Officers to support workplace campaign strategy, donor engagement, and campaign results by: Supporting assigned workplace campaign portfolios through donor engagement and stewardship, and follow-up. Preparing campaign reports, pledge reports, participation summaries, donor analytics and other information needed to support workplace campaign strategy. Coordinating donor acknowledgment letters and personalized appreciation efforts. Assisting with leadership donor and individual donor follow-up during and after campaign season. Supporting campaign wrap-up and post-campaign stewardship and follow-up. Helping identify donor retention, renewal, and upgrade opportunities within workplace campaigns. Coordinating thank-you communications and recognition activities for campaign volunteers, and mid-level, individual and leadership donors. Collaborating on campaign strategies that increase donor retention, donor participation, and individual giving within workplace campaigns. Strengthening the donor experience by managing mid-level and individual donor relationships within workplace campaigns while coordinating with Corporate Relations Officers on corporate partner strategy, executive relationships, and overall campaign growth.
Donor Stewardship:
Recognition and Appreciation Support donor recognition and appreciation activities in coordination with the Investor Relations team, including: Donor appreciation and thank-you communications. Welcome communications and continued donor journeys. Anniversary and milestone giving recognition. Handwritten notes, thank-you calls, and other personalized stewardship touches. Stewardship events and recognition campaigns. Personalized donor experiences connected to workplace campaign donors, leadership donors, assigned donor groups, and other assigned donor segments. Account and Donor Data Management Maintain detailed, accurate records of corporate partner interactions, assigned donor interactions, workplace campaign donor activity, stewardship actions, and follow-up steps. Collaborate with the Finance/Pledge Processing Team to ensure timely and accurate donor data management. Support the team with campaign-related data, donor lists, pledge information, and stewardship tracking. Community Engagement Represent UWNCNM at donor, campaign, community, special and other events as assigned. Foster strong community relationships. Support county-specific campaigns and special initiatives, by tailoring donor engagement and stewardship efforts to regional needs. Participate in planning and execution of UWNCNM special and high-impact events and initiatives including Mosaic, Day of Caring, donor groups, and other assigned events. Assist with donor engagement events and support identification, solicitation, and stewardship of event sponsorship gifts in coordination with Investor Relations staff. Donor Group Leadership & Engagement Serve as the primary staff liaison for assigned donor groups, fostering strong relationships with volunteer leaders, members, and prospective participants. Collaborate with donor group councils and leadership teams to develop and execute annual engagement, recruitment, stewardship, and growth strategies. Recruit, onboard, and support donor group members and volunteers while promoting meaningful opportunities for philanthropy, advocacy, and community involvement. Coordinate and support donor group meetings, networking events, volunteer projects, educational programs, and mission-focused engagement activities. Develop and implement communication and outreach efforts that increase participation, visibility, and connection to UWNCNM's mission and impact. Recognize and steward donor group members and volunteers through ongoing relationship management and appreciation activities. Maintain accurate records of donor group engagement, participation, volunteer involvement, and stewardship activities within donor management systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate donor group activities into UWNCNM fundraising campaigns, special events, volunteer initiatives, and community impact efforts. Support the growth and sustainability of assigned donor groups by identifying opportunities to increase membership, leadership development, volunteer engagement, and philanthropic investment. General Duties Attend (physical presence) staff meetings, trainings and other meetings as required or assigned. Participate actively in fund-raising initiatives and cross-functional projects to support our organizational goals, mission and initiatives. Performs and completes other duties, initiatives and special projects as assigned.

Minimum of one year of experience in fundraising, sales, or the nonprofit sector, or two or more years of direct fundraising experience. Experience cultivating, stewarding, or communicating with donors, volunteers, corporate campaign contacts, business partners, or community stakeholders. Possess strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills to effectively engage individual donors, workplace campaign contacts, corporate partners, volunteers, and internal team members in a professional and mission-centered manner. Ability to manage donor portfolios, track follow-up activity, maintain accurate records, and use data to support retention, renewal, and upgrade strategies. Ability to work independently and collaboratively, prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to emerging needs. Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling donor, campaign, organizational, and other sensitive information. Proficiently use technology, including multiple videoconferencing platforms, donor management software, CRM platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite. Complete accurate and timely data entry. Proficient in internet navigation and online research using modern web browsers to gather, verify, and utilize information effectively for job-related tasks Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding and practical experience with AI, including data analysis, AI driven decision making, and the application of AI tools to enhance operational efficiency and innovation.
Physical Requirements, Work Conditions, and Dexterity:
United Way of North Central New Mexico is a hybrid workplace. The schedule combines remote work on Wednesdays and Fridays with required in-person office attendance at UWNCNM's office building on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Due to business needs, employees may occasionally be required to work in-office on days other than the designated in-office days. The hybrid work schedule is subject to change and may be modified to require 100% in-office work at any time. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This position is primarily performed in a standard office environment and requires long periods of sitting at a desk and using a computer to accomplish job duties, and requires occasional standing; lifting/moving up to 20 lbs. unassisted and up to 40 lbs. with assistance; viewing computer monitors; and operating a computer at a proficient speed. Regular attendance is required in this position with occasional early mornings, evenings, and weekends, including but not limited to attending a variety of meetings and events at UWNCNM and in the community. Must have access to reliable internet access when working remotely on non-required in-office days. On designated in-office days, the employee must be able to perform job duties within a cubicle office setting, while maintaining focus and productivity amid typical office sounds, including conversations and varying levels of ambient noise. Must have the flexibility to adapt schedule to meet evolving business needs as necessary. Must possess a valid New Mexico driver's license and have daily access to a dependable, enclosed motor vehicle with current auto insurance in your own name or with you named on the policy. The vehicle must be available for use to be physically present for in-office workdays and to attend offsite events, meetings, and other work activities. Ability to travel to work in a variety of locations throughout north central New Mexico. Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Location Must be a New Mexico resident and able to commute to the UWNCNM office building in Albuquerque, NM on designated in-office workdays.
Salary and Benefits :
Salary Range:
$58,000 - $67,000 salary per year, based on experience, salaried, exempt, minimum 32 hours per week FTE (Full-Time Employee).
