MondayFriday, 8am - 5pm with flexibility for occasional evenings or weekends. Evenings and weekends are the exception, not the rule.

Position Purpose The Program Manager for Cancer Research Training Education and Coordination (CRTEC) will be key in Dartmouth Cancer Center's continued development and training of current and future researchers, clinicians, faculty, and staff. The Program Manager will develop, implement, and support programming for K12/CTE to develop interest in and grow the next generation of cancer researchers. This position will focus on programs to be advertised nationally, inclusive of programming that will aim to develop hyperlocal talent to address recruitment and retention issues. This position will perform grant writing for CRTEC programming at all levels including graduate students, faculty, researchers, and staff. And will inform best practices for programming recruitment. Required Qualifications Skills, Knowledge and Abilities Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or combination of experience and education in Business Administration, Education, Public Health, Social Sciences, or a related field.Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in program management, with a focus on educational and workforce programming. Experience with a rural populations will be helpful, but is not required. Proven experience in higher education, cancer research, or related fields is preferred. Demonstrated ability to formulate, initiate and execute programs customdesigned to address complex institutional and multiinstitutional priorities. Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with faculty, students, researchers, and clinicians. Demonstrated ability to effect change.Skills:
Strong program management skills with experience leading crossfunctional teams. Indepth knowledge of CRTEC current principles and best practices. Ability to analyze complex data and present actionable insights. High level of organizational and time management skills. Strong interpersonal skills and exceptional communication and presentation abilities. Ability to work collaboratively toward innovative solutions in highly stressful environments. Flexible, diplomatic, inclusive leadership style and ability to work productively with contacts at all levels and in multiple cultures. Preferred Qualifications Master's degree. Project management skills. Grant writing experience. Experience writing for publication.
