- Non Classified Position Overview The Adaptive Materials Coordinator is a position dedicated to expanding access to accessible instructional materials, assistive technology, and inclusive learning opportunities across Rhode Island.
Certification:
A special education teaching certification. Experience with special education and/or people with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities ( IDD ). Preferred Qualifications Applicants who have experience supporting individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. Applicants with an awareness or experience braille/Unified English Braille Technical code, or willingness to learn. Comfortable working independently, as well as in small groups within a team environment, and with children of all ages and ability levels. Applicants who are bilingual in Spanish and/or Portuguese. Does this position have Direct Reports? No Environmental Conditions The employee is not exposed to known adverse environmental conditions. Position Details FLSA Exempt Salary Grade 10NC Full Time / Part Time Full-time Proposed Starting Salary Range $70,000- $80,000 Work Schedule Full-Time, 35 weekly hours Monday
- Friday 8:30AM
