Position Summary The Student Records Specialist-General assists the Registrar by working with students, staff and on special projects. This position reports to the Registrar.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides student services for enrollment, registration, records, graduation, and admissions-related processes, including releasing holds. Maintains, verifies, and updates student records by processing enrollment verifications, scanning and indexing official documents, rebuilding historical records, assisting with transcript processing. Supports Registrar operations through graduation audits, application processing, course evaluations, transfer credit reviews, course substitutions, program changes, reporting, and special projects. Serves as a backup for key Registrar functions and initiatives as assigned. Performs other duties as assigned.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma or equivalent One (1) year work experience in an office environmentPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Associate's degree or higher One (1) year work experience in higher education or Student Services department Bilingual - English/SpanishKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Strong customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally. High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Proficiency with Microsoft Office, general office systems, and standard clerical functions. Ability to follow established procedures, exercise independent judgment when appropriate, and maintain sustained computer-based work. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, manage interruptions, and work extended hours during peak operational periods.Disclaimer:
