A Provost serves as chief academic officer at a college or university. Directly oversees the academic deans of various schools within a university system, as well as the heads of various interdisciplinary units and academic support functions, such as libraries, student services, the registrar, admissions, and IT. Reports in turn to the institution's chief executive officer or president. Responsible for oversight of all educational affairs and activities, including research and academic personnel.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent and two years of related experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
PeopleSoft experience. Administrative and data entry experience is highly desirable. Human Resource experience in any capacity is a plus Experience with reporting. Great communication skills. Attention to detail. Organizational skills. Problem-solving.
Job Description:
To provide professional and administrative coordination of human resources and financial management activities.
Job Duties:
Responsible for Human Resources procedures related to employee appointment and maintenance transactions. This includes but is not limited to the following: Review and process Employment Authorization Forms. Review and process the following transactions, including but not limited to: new hires, transfers, reclassifications, status changes, salary changes and separations, and leaves of absence. Open and maintain complete/accurate files. Ensure compliance with UT System Regents Rules. Serve as liaison to staff in other entity processing units, Human Resources, Payroll, and other support areas. Interacts with customers toward effective problem resolution and assists with questions regarding policies, procedures, and operations of the entity. Identifies operational problems and implements changes to provide solutions.
Salary Range:
Commensurate with experience.
Work Schedule:
Partial remote, Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, and as needed on occasion.
