Job Overview The Student Life and Alumni Engagement Manager is a district position that serves all campuses at Aristoi Classical Academy. This position is seen as co-curricular and complementary to academic culture and programming in faithfully carrying out ACA's Mission, Vision, and Philosophy. By supporting and advising the Superintendent and Headmasters on matters of Student Culture, the House System, House Competitions, House Culture, Student Engagement, and Mentoring Opportunities, the Student Life Manager must serve as an exemplar of Aristoi's Mission and Core Beliefs. They will also work to support the Headmasters in preserving, developing, and enhancing the House System and Culture at ACA, both at the local campus and across the District. Given the different stages and needs of each Aristoi campus, it is vital that the Student Life Manager work with each Headmaster closely, as well as with the superintendent to ensure that a consistent House culture flourishes. Responsibilities Collaborates with campus Headmasters and Superintendent to develop and/or enhance the culture of the House System on each Aristoi campus Supports Headmasters in implementing Aristoi's traditions (House System and competitions, service trips and projects, "Memory Maker" events, etc.) with fidelity, while accounting for the Academy's unique local context Undertake comprehensive survey of House System and Student Culture at Aristoi Classical Academy, present Headmasters and Superintendent with a detailed summary and a plan to preserve core elements, enhance areas of growth, and address any existing gaps Collaborate with each campus Headmaster to fine tune, develop, or create-depending on the stage of the campus-the House System and accompanying student activities in age-appropriate iterations across grades K-12 Collaborate with Headmasters to develop or enhance ceremonies and rites of passage associated with House Culture. Work with Headmasters and College and Career Counselor to enhance mentoring opportunities for Rhetoric School Students, particularly with a view to college and career readiness Provide one-on-one mentoring opportunities for Rhetoric School students Develop communication pipeline for Alumni Network Maintain a database for the Alumni Network, recording baccalaureate, professional, and personal statuses for alumni Work with relevant Headmasters to plan and host alumni events to maintain a strong culture post-graduation Identify and pursue grant opportunities that support mission-aligned activities and culture-making events, such as retreats, hikes, etc. All other duties as assigned by the Superintendent Requirements Minimum of 5 years working in a Classical School (Charter/Private/Public) Administrative experience is required. Experience in Student Culture and Community Programming. Master's Degree in a Liberal Arts discipline preferred. Teaching experience is also preferred.
Pay:
$65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
