About Us YS Cosmetology Academy is a growing cosmetology and beauty education academy dedicated to helping students build successful careers in the beauty industry. We are looking for a motivated, organized, and outgoing team member to help support our admissions process, student communication, and daily office operations. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, has strong communication skills, and is comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced beauty school environment. Position Summary The Admissions & Student Services Coordinator will be responsible for communicating with prospective students, following up with leads, scheduling appointments and tours, assisting with enrollment information, and supporting daily administrative operations within the school. This role plays a key part in helping future students feel welcomed, informed, and excited about starting their beauty education journey. ResponsibilitiesAdmissions & Lead Follow-Up Contact and follow up with prospective students by phone, text, email, and social media Respond to inquiries regarding programs, tuition, schedules, and enrollment requirements Schedule school tours, appointments, and enrollment meetings Maintain organized records of leads and student communications Assist prospective students throughout the enrollment process Front Desk & Administrative Support Greet visitors and provide excellent customer service Assist with answering phones and managing front desk operations Help maintain office organization and student files Coordinate appointments and calendars for admissions and school staff Support daily administrative tasks as needed School Tours & Program Information Give informative and professional school tours Explain program offerings, schedules, tuition, and career opportunities Present the school in a welcoming and professional manner Assist with promotional events, open houses, and student outreach activities Business & Growth Support Research vendors, companies, partnerships, and resources that may benefit the school Assist with marketing initiatives and community outreach Support special projects and operational growth initiatives as assigned Qualifications Strong communication and interpersonal skills Friendly, professional, and confident speaking with people Organized and detail-oriented Comfortable using phones, email, social media, and basic computer programs Ability to multitask and work independently Sales, customer service, admissions, receptionist, or telemarketing experience preferred Beauty industry experience is a plus, but not required Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred Schedule Full-time or Part-time available Some evening or weekend availability may be required Compensation Hourly pay based on experience Performance bonuses may be available Growth opportunities within the company Why Join Our Team? $10.00 - $15.00 per hour
