This role will focus on delivering engaging environmental education to various audiences through classroom visits, library programs, and tabling events. Variable schedule based on program needs. Job will be split between offsite program delivery and onsite curriculum development and administrative tasks.

Duties Outreach Program Delivery:

Facilitate environmental education programs at schools, libraries, community events, and other off-site locations. Tailor presentations to diverse age groups and settings. Work with and teach K-12 students.

Animal Handling and Presentations:

Handle and present live animas during educational programs, enhancing the learning experience with direct interactions and demonstrations.

Curriculum Development:

Assist with refining educational activities (presentations, classroom programs, tabling activities) that address the needs of different audiences.

Public Representation:

Act as a representative of the Museum during off-site engagements, ensuring a positive and professional image. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Wildlife Biology, Childhood Education, Communications, Public Administration, Community Studies, or related field Previous experience working with K-12 aged children Experienced in public speaking and audience engagement with both youth and adult populations Weekend and evening availability is required. Schedule will vary weekly.
