These programs and services include counseling and disability services, management of the residence halls and residential curriculum, student life (engagement activities & organizations), Title IX, state and federal compliance, TRiO, and discipline/community standards. The Dean also leads the College's new student onboarding, transition, first-year experience, and persistence initiatives. The Dean of Students is a member of the Student Services Council, and may be appointed to other College governance committees as assigned. The Dean of Students aids the Vice President of Access, Completion, and Transfer (VPACT) in whatever capacity is deemed necessary by the VPACT. A minimum of five years of full-time administrative experience in a relevant education setting. Demonstrated experience in student conduct administration, crisis response, student engagement and retention initiatives, and supervision of student affairs functional areas preferred.
