DEALERSHIP ACCOUNTING AND ADMINISTRATIVE SPECIALIST
Wharton Ford | Wharton Texas Wharton Ford is seeking a dependable, organized, and motivated professional to join our accounting and administrative team. This is an important, trusted position within our dealership. Because we are a smaller, close-knit organization, the person selected will handle several essential responsibilities rather than being limited to one narrow function. The ideal candidate will enjoy having meaningful responsibility, working directly with dealership management, and being part of a team where accuracy, reliability, confidentiality, and a willingness to help are genuinely valued. Primary Responsibilities Process vendor invoices and accounts payable Assist with accounts receivable and expense tracking Complete vehicle title, registration, and related state documentation Process new- and used-vehicle deals and maintain accurate deal files Stock new and used vehicles into the dealership management system Reconcile assigned accounting schedules and follow up on outstanding items Perform banking, document deliveries, and occasional dealership errands Order and maintain office supplies
- Provide professional telephone and customer support Use Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft 365 Assist management with advertising, marketing, community activities, and other administrative needs Preferred Qualifications Automobile-dealership office experience is preferred but not required Experience with accounts payable, titles, deal processing, bookkeeping, or administration Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, accuracy, and organization Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft 365 Professional communication and ability to handle confidential information Dependable attendance, consistent follow-through, and a team-minded PBS or other dealership-management-system experience is helpful but not required.

- 5:00pm $40,000
