On Campus Position Description The Campus Director provides the following to their local campus: spiritual leadership, operational excellence, community development, fund raising, establishing healthy vocational training options, and the overall vision of the ministry on a local level and organizing its resources to fulfill the overall vision of Hope Center Ministries. As a minister of the gospel, The Campus Director is responsible for facilitating marriages, communion, baptisms and funerals as those opportunities present themselves, serving the spiritual needs of individuals and communities through these important moments of life and faith. Key Areas of Ministry & Responsibility A Spirit-led, mature believer who lives a Christ-centered life that is evident in teaching, leadership, relationships, and daily conduct. Ensures the message of Jesus Christ is clearly communicated and practically applied throughout all aspects of campus life. Provides clarity, direction, and spiritual grounding so residents, staff, and volunteers can understand and live out recovery by transformation in Christ. Serves as a visionary leader committed to the long-term health, growth, and future development of Hope Center Ministries. Oversees vocational training, ensuring programs are effective, growing, and aligned with ministry goals and partner expectations. Collaborates closely with the District Director, and leadership team to plan, guide, and support the evolution of the local campus. Functions as a confident, cooperative, and self-assured leader who motivates others toward mission alignment and excellence. Builds strong leadership culture by developing staff, interns, apprentices, volunteers, and residents into effective leaders. Establishes intentional leadership pipelines that identify, equip, mentor, and release emerging leaders. Ensures campus health and growth by providing direction, tools, support, and accountability to staff and teams. Models servant leadership while fostering unity, excellence, and spiritual maturity across the campus. Actively develops new vocational training partnerships and opportunities for resident growth and workforce development. Leads campus fundraising efforts and collaborates with leadership and financial partners to meet or exceed funding goals. Promotes innovative community engagement strategies including church partnerships, outreach events, and recovery networks. Represents Hope Center Ministries as a consistent model of integrity, professionalism, and community engagement. Prioritizes spiritual growth and personal development through ongoing discipline, accountability, and leadership development. Commits to maintaining compliance with all Hope Center Ministries policies, procedures, and standards of excellence. Ultimately shepherds a Christ-centered community where restoration, leadership development, and life transformation are central outcomes. Leadership Responsibilities Take full responsibility for ensuring the campus is spiritually healthy, operationally strong, and positioned for sustainable growth. Lead, equip, and develop staff so they are empowered to effectively lead volunteers, interns, apprentices, and community partners. Actively contribute to and advance the overall mission and vision of Hope Center Ministries through aligned leadership and execution. Establish and maintain an intentional leadership development pipeline that cultivates key leaders, emerging leaders, and future leadership capacity. Provide consistent mentoring, coaching, and hands-on training for interns and apprentices to foster growth and leadership readiness. Create opportunities to increase resident ownership, responsibility, and engagement within campus life and programming. Participate in ongoing leadership development, including monthly Campus Director development meetings for personal and professional growth. Continuously assess campus operations to identify, mitigate, and eliminate risks to resident safety, wellbeing, and program integrity. Staff Development Provide direct leadership, supervision, and ongoing support to all campus staff to ensure alignment with mission, expectations, and operational excellence. Facilitate weekly staff meetings focused on communication, accountability, and intentional leadership development. Partner with the Business & Finance team members, the District Director and the Regional Director to plan, manage, and evaluate campus budgets, fundraising efforts, and donation stewardship. Execute additional responsibilities and assignments as delegated by the District Director and Regional Director in support of organizational priorities. Ensure full compliance with all Hope Center Ministries policies, procedures, and operational standards across the campus. Vocational Training Assignments Oversee vocational training partnerships to ensure financial goals are consistently met and progressively expanded. Actively pursue and secure additional healthy vocational training contracts that provide sustainable opportunities for resident development. Ensure all vocational training partners provide appropriate, high-quality instruction and maintaining alignment with Hope Center Ministries' standards. Cultivate and develop new vocational training partnerships to expand learning opportunities, skill development, and workforce readiness for residents. Fund Raising Lead and oversee all campus fundraising events, ensuring strong planning, execution, and alignment with ministry values and goals. Continuously evaluate and improve fundraising strategies to increase effectiveness, engagement, and long-term sustainability. Partner with National Leadership and Business & Finance team members to develop, track, and achieve or exceed established fundraising goals for the campus. Professional Development/Personal Growth Pursue ongoing professional development by attending courses, workshops, and conferences that enhance leadership effectiveness and ministry impact. Utilize performance indicators as a framework for evaluating goal achievement, operational effectiveness, and leadership growth. Establish clear, realistic goals by casting vision, developing actionable strategies, and aligning resources to support mission advancement and financial stewardship. Participate in annual performance reviews that include evaluation of leadership effectiveness, goal attainment, and commitment to personal spiritual development. Maintain intentional personal disciplines that support spiritual, mental, and physical well-being, ensuring sustained health and leadership capacity. Community Development Develop and implement innovative recruitment strategies to expand awareness of Hope Center Ministries and increase program participation. Leverage word-of-mouth engagement by building strong relationships with residents, alumni, families, and community partners who can advocate for the ministry. Actively pursue and participate in church speaking engagements to share the mission, vision, and impact of Hope Center Ministries. Represent the ministry at recovery community events to build relationships, strengthen partnerships, and increase community visibility. Oversee the distribution of approved literature and outreach materials to ensure consistent and effective messaging within the community. Serve as a consistent model of Christ-centered engagement in all interactions with local churches, community organizations, and external partners. Knowledge/Skills Demonstrate strong biblical knowledge and apply Scripture-based principles in leadership, teaching, and decision-making across campus operations. Maintain a working understanding of Celebrate Recovery's 12 Steps and 8 Principles (Beatitudes) to support resident growth and recovery-focused programming. Apply foundational knowledge of human behavior to effectively support, guide, and engage residents in a structured recovery environment. Utilize basic understanding of addiction and recovery services, along with career advising principles, to support resident development and reintegration. Deliver clear, effective communication in both individual and group settings to ensure understanding, alignment, and engagement across all audiences. Exhibit strong time management skills to prioritize responsibilities, meet deadlines, and maintain operational efficiency. Respond to complaints, disputes, and grievances with wisdom, professionalism, and Christ-centered conflict resolution, ensuring fair and timely resolution. Additional Requirements Have accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and must live a life according to Biblical standards. Agree with the Statement of Faith, Lifestyle Statement, and overall vision of Hope Center Ministries. Successfully pass drug and alcohol tests, background screening and social media, personal and professional reference checks. Meet any additional requirements as may be determined by Hope Center Ministries.
