Job Description Purpose of the
Position:
Under direct supervision, recruit qualified candidates for the college's academic programs in a compliant and professional manner. Provide information, guidance, and assistance to prospective students regarding enrollment and the admissions process. Address and resolve student inquiries and issues, ensuring appropriate action and satisfactory resolution for the student, institution, and applicable regulatory agencies. Maintain enrollment standards by complying with governmental regulations, accreditation requirements, and institutional policies, enrolling only students who meet eligibility requirements outlined in the college catalog. Demonstrate professionalism, strong communication, teamwork, and the work ethic necessary to effectively guide prospective students through the admissions process.
Job responsibilities:
Respond to inbound inquiries from prospective students—by phone, web, or in person—providing accurate information on programs, admission requirements, curricula, and academic standards. Conduct outbound calls and follow-ups with prospective students who have expressed interest in attending the institution. Participate in organized dialing campaigns and initiate outreach efforts to generate new prospective student interest. Schedule and conduct admissions interviews using approved materials, processes, and institutional guidelines. Explain program offerings and align institutional benefits with prospective students' career goals and objectives. Discuss program requirements and assist prospective students in identifying the most appropriate educational pathway. Provide guidance on admissions policies, procedures, enrollment requirements, and next steps in the admissions process. Serve as a liaison between prospective students and campus departments throughout the enrollment process. Mentor and advise prospective students to support informed decision-making regarding career goals and educational opportunities. Maintain accurate records of inquiries, admissions activities, and student interactions within the CRM system. Complete required activity reports and ensure enrollment documentation is accurate, complete, and submitted in a timely manner. Attend required training, meetings and perform additional duties as assigned by leadership. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred. 1-3 years of experience in admissions, enrollment services, recruiting, sales, customer service, or a related field preferred. Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to build rapport with prospective students. Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet performance metrics in a fast-paced environment. Basic proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and standard office technology. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment. Demonstrated professionalism, integrity, and commitment to compliance with institutional policies and regulatory requirements.
