Posting Details Posting Detail Information Student Requisition Number 2027089STP Job Title Office Assistant - Alumni Relations Number of Positions Available 1 Funded by Federal Workstudy only Yes Description of Job Duties and Responsibilities Attend various Alumni engagement events (including Homecoming) to assist in the setup, execution and/or tear down of the events. Some evening and weekend required. Some events may take place off campus. Assist the Director in preparing for monthly Alumni Association meetings. Organize and inventory Alumni giveaways/swag. Assist in creating social media content and marketing materials Assist in updating the Alumni Relations webpage Assist with mailing of invitations, cards, and other communications Network and socialize with Alumni when on campus or attending events. Support Alumni Relations staff with special projects General clerical work including typing, scanning, copying, answering and making phone calls, emailing and data entry. Perform other duties as necessary. Minimum Qualifications Excellent written, communication, and interpersonal skills Ability to work as part of a team, but comfortable working independently Able to prioritize assignments and adhere to deadlines Experience with social media Excellent computer skills Strong interpersonal skills, professional demeanor, customer service oriented Ability to easily respond to evolving requests Handle sensitive materials and information and maintain confidentiality Notes to Applicant This position requires Federal Work-Study as part of your financial aid package.
