About us Active Minds provides lifelong learning programs for seniors and adults of all ages. Our mission is to expand lives and minds by providing outstanding educational programs. We offer programs ranging from international affairs to history, politics, biographies, and more. Seeking dynamic part-time instructors to teach seminars to mature adults. Teaching experience, bachelor's degree, and familiarity/comfort with Zoom required (though this is an in-person role). Degree or background in History, Political Science, International Studies, or Geography (or similar discipline) preferred. Most topics focus on current World Issues/History/Politics. Training and curriculum are provided. We offer instructors exciting opportunities to teach intellectually engaged participants without the pressures of curriculum development or grading papers/tests. Hours are flexible, but daytime availability is required. Current teaching opportunities are in-person in the Denver and Boulder areas in Colorado.
