Position Summary:
- The School of Education seeks applications between July 1, 2026
- December 31, 2026, from individuals who are interested in securing temporary instructor positions on an as-needed basis within the Family and Consumer Sciences program for the 2026-2027 academic year.
Full Consideration Date:
- To ensure full consideration, applications must be received by 11:59 p.m. (MT) on December 31, 2026.
- Salary Range
- Base salary range is $48,000 to $50,000, 9-month adjunct.
Compensation:
- $1,666.67 per credit hour instruction
- Majority of courses are 3 credit hours for a semester salary of $5,000. Salary is paid at the end of each month, paid monthly over 5 months (August
- December or January
- May).
- Supervision
- This position reports to a faculty member within the School of Education.
Required Job Qualifications:
- + Earned masters degree in family and consumer sciences or a related field. + Demonstrated excellence in teaching and service within the family and consumer sciences field of study (e.g., family and consumer sciences education, personal and family finance).
Preferred Job Qualifications:
- + Earned doctoral degree in family and consumer sciences or a related field. + Successful P-12 and/or post-secondary education teaching/training experience. + Evidence of collaboration with public school teachers and administrators.
