Middle/High School Social Studies Teacher CES Academy of Bradenton is seeking passionate and dedicated Social Studies Teacher Middle/High School who believes that every student deserves a chance to succeed in school and in life. Our teachers play a vital role in helping students win, belong, and love school again by delivering instruction that meets individual learning needs in a small, supportive classroom environment. CES Academy is fully accredited through Cognia, a faith-based private K-12 school and is part of Children's Educational Services (CES), an organization known for championing students through personalized education, differentiated instruction, strong support systems, and faith-based values. Work Schedule Hours:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality instruction aligned with curriculum standards while addressing diverse learning styles and needs Create a positive, structured, and engaging classroom environment Develop strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues Assess student progress regularly and provide meaningful feedback Collaborate with administration and support staff to implement individualized academic and behavioral supports Uphold CES Academy's values, ethics, and commitment to student success Participate in professional development and school-wide initiatives Qualifications Bachelor's degree (4-year degree) from an accredited college or university (required) Florida Teaching Certificate (preferred) Candidates must be eligible to clear and maintain a background screening in the State of Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
