Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated 4th Grade ELA (English Language Arts) and Social Studies Teacher to inspire young learners and foster their academic growth. In this role, you will deliver engaging lessons that develop literacy, critical thinking, and social awareness, ensuring students build a strong foundation for future success. Your enthusiasm for teaching, combined with your commitment to student development, will create a vibrant classroom environment where every child feels supported and motivated to excel. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards for ELA and Social Studies, incorporating differentiated instruction to meet diverse learning styles. Foster a positive classroom atmosphere through effective behavior management strategies that promote respect, collaboration, and active participation. Assess student progress regularly using formative and summative assessments; analyze performance data to tailor instruction and support individual learning needs. Integrate educational technology tools and learning platforms to enhance engagement and facilitate interactive lessons. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, school initiatives, and student support programs such as special education and early intervention services. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress, behavior, and upcoming classroom activities through regular updates and conferences. Support students' social-emotional development by implementing classroom routines that promote a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment. Skills Proven experience teaching elementary school students with a focus on literacy education, math, social studies, and writing skills. Strong classroom management skills to maintain an organized, respectful learning environment. Expertise in curriculum implementation, lesson planning, and integrating educational technology to enhance learning experiences. Ability to adapt instruction based on individual learning styles and developmental needs of children, including those with autism or other special needs. Proficiency in student performance data analysis to monitor progress and inform instructional decisions. Excellent communication skills for effective parent-teacher collaboration and team-based teaching approaches. Knowledge of educational compliance standards, standardized testing procedures, and childhood development principles. Experience working with young children in diverse settings such as private schools or early childhood programs; familiarity with library services is a plus. Skills in proofreading, curriculum development, tutoring, behavior management, and working with students requiring early intervention or additional academic support. Pay:
$48,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
