Key Point Academy is seeking a full-time 3rd Grade Language Arts and Social Studies Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. This is an immediate opening for a teacher who is organized, dependable, and ready to join a supportive school community. The teacher will provide Language Arts and Social Studies instruction to 3rd grade students, with a focus on reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, critical thinking, and age-appropriate social studies content. We are looking for someone who can create engaging lessons, build strong relationships with students, and maintain a positive, structured classroom environment.

Responsibilities include:

Plan and deliver engaging Language Arts and Social Studies lessons for 3rd grade students Support student growth in reading, writing, vocabulary, grammar, comprehension, and critical thinking Teach Social Studies concepts in a clear, age-appropriate, and engaging way Maintain a positive, structured, and safe classroom environment Differentiate instruction to support varying student needs Communicate professionally with families regarding student progress and classroom expectations Collaborate with administration, faculty, and staff Follow school policies, curriculum expectations, and professional standards Participate in required school meetings, events, trainings, and professional responsibilities Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree required Bachelor's degree in Education accepted without a Florida Teaching Certificate Candidates with a bachelor's degree in a field other than Education must hold a valid Florida Teaching Certificate Strong spoken and written English required Prior teaching experience in elementary Language Arts, Reading, Writing, Social Studies, History, or related subjects preferred Strong classroom management, organization, and communication skills Benefits include: Paid vacation/recess periods per school policy Sick leave eligibility per school policy Optional health, dental, vision, and Aflac benefits School lunch program Employee tuition discount Key Point Academy is committed to providing a safe and supportive learning environment for all students.
