This individual will faithfully teach the approved Bible curriculum, foster meaningful classroom discussions, and model Christlike character in both word and action. This is a one-year appointment for the 2026-2027 school year with the potential for continued employment based on future staffing needs, performance, and organizational structure. Essential Responsibilities Teach assigned Bible courses using Lighthouse Christian Academy's approved curriculum. Present biblical truth in a manner consistent with LCA's Statement of Faith. Foster a classroom environment that encourages spiritual growth, thoughtful discussion, and academic excellence. Integrate biblical worldview into instruction and student interactions. Prepare lessons, assessments, and instructional materials. Maintain timely grading, classroom records, and communication with students and families. Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, chapels, and other school activities as appropriate. Model Christlike character and support the mission and vision of Lighthouse Christian Academy. Requirements All candidates should demonstrate both spiritual maturity and the ability to effectively teach God's Word.

Demonstrate a growing and mature relationship with Jesus Christ. Be actively involved in the life of a local Bible-believing church. Wholeheartedly affirm and support Lighthouse Christian Academy's Statement of Faith. Possess a strong knowledge of Scripture and the ability to teach from a biblical worldview. Have completed formal biblical training (Bible college, seminary, ministry certificate, or comparable theological education and/or ministry experience strongly preferred). Hold a bachelor's degree (Bible, Theology, Christian Ministry, Christian Education, or a related field preferred). Demonstrate effective communication, organization, and classroom management skills.
