We are looking for an educator who is passionate about helping students grow academically, spiritually, socially, and emotionally while creating a positive and engaging classroom environment. Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned instruction in reading, writing, mathematics, science, and social studies. Integrate Catholic faith, Gospel values, and the teachings of the Church throughout the school day. Create a structured, positive classroom environment with high expectations for student learning and behavior. Differentiate instruction to meet the academic needs of all learners. Assess student learning and use data to guide instruction and support student growth. Communicate regularly and professionally with parents and guardians. Collaborate with colleagues, interventionists, and school leadership to support student success. Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, school Masses, and other school and parish activities. Support the mission and Catholic identity of St. John the Baptist Catholic School. Maintain a safe, respectful, and welcoming classroom for all students. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field. Valid Indiana teaching license or eligibility to obtain an Indiana teaching license. Strong classroom management and communication skills. Ability to differentiate instruction and meet the needs of diverse learners. Commitment to continuous professional growth and collaboration. Practicing Catholic preferred; candidates must be supportive of and committed to the mission and teachings of the Catholic Church. Successful completion of required background checks and child-safety training.
